Head Coach CEO Carmel Swim Club
Chris Plumb has been the Head Coach and CEO of Carmel Swim Club since July 2006, overseeing all aspects of the club and coaching the High Performance training group. He joined the program in 2003 and has been a dynamic leader, pushing Carmel to be a model club both in Indiana and nationally. Chris has coached athletes on the last two U.S. Olympic teams and is a current 2024 U.S. Olympic team coach. Under his leadership, the club achieved significant milestones, including the 2014 Speedo Girls Junior National Team title, the 2016 Junior National Champions, and serving as Head Coach for the Junior Pan Pacific Team in 2016 and Assistant Coach for the FINA World Junior Championships in 2017. The club was named a USA Swimming Gold Medal Club of Excellence in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015.
Chris is also the Head Coach at Carmel High School, where he has led the Lady Hounds to the last ten of their 30 consecutive titles and secured five titles for the boys. In 2011, he was inducted into the Indiana Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame.
